We provided best practice and expertise on project structure and agentic workflow, to enable a custom order-to-cash operating system that saves time and money.
FreshFleet supplies chefs and kitchens from a catalogue of around 2,000 products. Orders arrive by email, and each one has to be procured, picked up, invoiced and chased for payment. Credits and pricing changes create additional admin, particularly as many customers have contracted rates, meaning the same product could be sold at several different prices. Getting this right by hand takes time and invites mistakes.
As a result, FreshFleet needed a way to run the order-to-cash process with far less manual effort, while staying in control of what was being built.
With guidance from a ThirdEye Claude-certified architect specifically around best practices, project structure and agentic workflow, FreshFleet utilised Claude Code to build Oppy, a custom end-to-end order-to-cash operating system that went live in April 2026.
Oppy covers the full cycle as orders come in by email and automatically kicks off procurement. Order management, credits and invoicing all run through the same system, and cash collection sits alongside them so nothing get missed.
A customer app for iOS and Android, currently being developed, will sit on the same backend, with chefs logging in and placing orders that go straight into Oppy, with no rekeying. ThirdEye will provide test expertise for the app once it's fully developed.
The ways of working are also critical, with development managed on a self-maintaining kanban board run through Claude, with detailed cards that keep themselves up to date. This gives clear visibility of what Claude is doing and stops the work drifting. This activity was built agentically, with users queuing tasks in a folder overnight, for Claude to work through.
Oppy gives Freshfleet a platform it owns and can shape around how the business works, and as it was built with Claude
Code, new features can arrive instantly. Contracted pricing is handled automatically for the first time, so every
customer pays their agreed rate, without manual chasing. The upcoming app will enable direct ordering by chefs
which will reduce email order volumes.
The team is also moving its skills, rules and project structure into Git, with support from ThirdEye, making the
way Oppy is built repeatable and easier to share across the team as it grows.
